Reducing waste matters just as much as whats inside the package! To avoid contributing to unnecessary production some packaging materials may be repurposed or reused. This can include previously used boxes, padding, or wrapping that is in good condition. Choosing to reuse helps keep perfectly usable materials out of landfills and reduces environmental impact. From time to time your order may also include a small complimentary freebie! These items are thoughtfully sourced and may include things like ethically harvested shells or nature found pieces. Some are thrifted, secondhand trinkets, or repurposed items that have been given a second life and are being shared to prevent waste. While every effort is made to minimize plastic use some repurposed or gifted items may contain plastic. These are never newly sourced for packaging purposes, but intentionally reused to extend their lifecycle and reduce unnecessary disposal in the case it may bring someone joy. Jewelry Care ♡

Handmade jewelry is one of a kind. Please handle with care to keep it looking its best:

•Avoid moisture & chemicals: Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, or applying perfume/lotions. This helps preserve your adornment.

•Remove before sleeping: Sleeping in jewelry can loosen settings or cause damage.

•Patina & polishing: Natural darkening (patina) may occur on copper, brass, and sterling silver- this adds character! Gently polish with the included cloth to restore shine. Stainless steel and gold-filled pieces are water safe and tarnish resistant, but occasional polishing helps maintain brilliance.

•Imperfections are part of handmade charm: Slight scratches, scuffs, or darkening is normal and not eligible for refunds or returns.

Treat each piece with care, and it will remain a treasure for years to come.

Handmade & One of a Kind Items

Earth in Echo specializes in handmade, artisan crafted, and one of a kind clothing and accessories. Due to the handmade nature of these items, variations are expected and are not considered defects. Variations may include, but are not limited to:

• Color and dye saturation
• Tie-dye patterns
• Patchwork placement
• Fabric patterns
• Embroidery placement
• Hand-stamped details
• Measurements and sizing
• Natural characteristics of handmade materials

Product photos are intended to represent the style and overall appearance of an item. No two handmade items will be identical, and exact replication is not possible.

Variations That Are Not Defects

The following are considered normal characteristics of handmade and artisan made products and do not qualify for refunds, returns, exchanges, or chargebacks:

• Color variations

Our Sustainability Commitment

At Earth in Echo, we believe in slow fashion and mindful consumption. Returns require additional transportation, packaging, processing, and handling, increasing the environmental impact of an item beyond its original journey. Because many of our pieces are handmade and one of a kind, we encourage customers to review product descriptions, measurements, photos, and policies carefully. Every thoughtful purchase helps support a more sustainable approach to fashion and reduces unnecessary waste.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the one of a kind nature of our products, all sales are final. Returns, refunds, and exchanges are not accepted except in the event that:

• The wrong item was sent
• The item arrived with a significant manufacturing defect.

Customers must contact Earth in Echo within 14 days of delivery to report any qualifying issue. Claims submitted after 14 days of delivery may be denied.

Claims must include:

• Order number
• Description of the issue
• Clear photographs of the item
• Photographs of the packaging when applicable

Earth in Echo reserves the right to determine whether an issue qualifies for a refund, replacement, store credit, or another appropriate resolution.

Missing Items & Delivery Issues

Missing items must be reported within 14 days of delivery. If tracking shows “Delivered” but the package cannot be located:

1. Wait 48 hours
2. Check with household members, neighbors, building management, or mailrooms
3. Contact the shipping carrier directly
4. File any available carrier claims

Quality & Care

All items are inspected prior to shipment. Customers are responsible for properly caring for their handmade garments and accessories. Damage caused after delivery, including improper washing, storage, wear, alterations, accidents, or misuse, is not eligible for refund, replacement, or exchange.

Digital Gift Cards

All gift card purchases are final sale and non refundable.

Shipping & Processing

Processing times are estimates and may vary based on inventory, order volume, weather conditions, carrier delays, or other circumstances beyond our control. Providing an accurate shipping address is the customer’s responsibility. Earth in Echo is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional shipping charges resulting from incorrect addresses entered at checkout.

Cancellations

Orders may be canceled only before fulfillment begins. Once an order has been packed, processed, or shipped, cancellation requests cannot be guaranteed.

Inventory Errors

Inventory discrepancies may occur. If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, Earth in Echo reserves the right to issue a full refund for the unavailable item and fulfill the remainder of the order.

• U.S. delivery: 3–8 business days

• International Delivery: 1 month+

Details: Orders can take up to 10 business days to ship though we try our very best to ship orders out within 5 days. Orders placed around restock days may take an extra week due to high volume.

•Shipping Time: Once shipped, U.S. orders usually arrive within 8 business days. International orders can take 1 month+

Each item’s description includes available sizing information, measurements, fabric details, and model references when available. Because our garments are handmade and unique, slight measurement differences may occur between pieces. Please carefully review sizing information before purchasing, as we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for fit, sizing preferences, or an item not fitting as expected.

Handmade garments may include small characteristics that reflect the artisan process.

Care Instructions🐚

To keep your Earth in Echo pieces beautiful for years to come, please handle them with care:

•Hand wash: Wash each item separately in cold water, especially for the first few washes, to prevent dyes from transferring.
•Hang to dry: Avoid dryers, as heat can cause fading, shrinking, or wear on delicate stitching.

•Batch washing: Once the water runs clear after a few washes you may wash similar colors together (dark with dark, light with light)

•Why hand wash?: Hand washing helps preserve the dyes, fabric strength, and stitching, protecting the life of your garment.

•What happens if I machine wash?: Clothing may be subject to shrinkage, loosening of threads, wearing of fabric, and/or fading of colors. I highly suggest against machine washing. If you absolutely must- please treat all items as delicate: Sort by color and place items in a mesh bag inside out. Select “delicate” or “hand wash” cycle and proceed with cold water and a mild detergent. Tumble cold on the lowest spinning speed within the mesh bag. Earth in Echo is not responsible for items damaged from machine washing.

International Shipping, Duties & Taxes

Earth in Echo ships from the United States.

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST/HST, brokerage fees, or other government imposed charges upon arrival in the destination country. These charges are not included in product prices or shipping costs at checkout.

Customers are solely responsible for:

• Paying any applicable duties, taxes, VAT, GST/HST, customs fees, or brokerage fees
• Monitoring shipment tracking information
• Responding to requests from customs authorities or shipping carriers
• Accepting delivery of their package

Earth in Echo does not collect, control, calculate, or estimate customs charges. Import requirements and fees vary by country and may change without notice. Customers are responsible for researching their country’s current import regulations before placing an order.

Refused Deliveries & Unclaimed Packages

Orders refused by the customer, abandoned, unclaimed, or returned due to unpaid customs charges are not considered canceled orders.

If a package is returned to Earth in Echo due to:

• Refusal to pay duties or taxes
• Failure to claim the package
• Failure to respond to customs requests
• Missed delivery attempts
• An incorrect address provided by the customer

The customer will be responsible for any reshipping costs.

Any refund approved for a returned package may be reduced by:

• Original shipping charges
• Return shipping charges
• Customs fees billed back to Earth in Echo
• Carrier fees that are non-refundable

Customs Delays

Earth in Echo is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, customs clearance procedures, government agencies, carrier processing delays, weather events, labor disruptions, or other events outside our control.

UPS & Courier Shipments

Certain carriers, including UPS and other international couriers, may bill unpaid duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or return charges directly to the shipper. If Earth in Echo is charged for duties, taxes, brokerage fees, return shipping, or other costs resulting from a customer’s refusal or failure to accept delivery, those amounts may be deducted from any approved refund where permitted by law.

I work with skilled artisans around the world to create handmade items. While not fair trade certified, Earth in Echo prioritizes ethical partnerships while honoring traditional techniques passed down through generations. By connecting directly with both makers and fellow small businesses with a passion for ethics; I’m proud to support these artists craft, honor their heritage, support their livelihoods, and share their art with a wider audience. Most designs are crafted in South Asia, Spain, Thailand, Italy, Indonesia, or Turkey and many items are made using natural fibers such as cotton or linen. Some even contain plant based or low impact dyes. In addition to carrying recycled/repurposed items to give fabric new life and keep out of landfills. Shopping with Earth in Echo also provides compostable packaging to reduce environmental impact.
